Policies Shipping   Standard Domestic Shipping     Shipping amounts are for U.S. shipping only.  Insured Shipping is an additional $2.00 per order and is highly recommended.  We ship UPS Ground to all states except Hawaii and Alaska.  Orders to Hawaii and Alaska are shipped via USPS parcel post and may require additional shipping time and charges.  Shipping times are estimates and vary depending on shipping options -- please see product pages for estimated shipping times. Backordered and Discontinued items DiscountYarnSale.com makes every effort to ensure that the yarn available for order on this site is current and available from the manufacturer.  There are times however when a manufacturer discontinues or backorders an item without immediate notification.  Please note that if an order contains items that have been discontinued or backordered by the manufacturer, the remainder of the order will be filled and shipped. No automatic substitutions will be made for the customer.  If you do not want a partial order filled, you must make a note of it on the checkout page in the section entitled "Comments/Special Delivery Information".  If this section is left blank, DiscountYarnSale.com will process partial orders.   Payments   We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express through our online shopping cart. Your credit card will be charged when your order is placed. You will receive an online invoice after you have completed your order and a hard-copy of the invoice will be sent with your purchases. Pricing and Sales Tax Our prices are in US currency and are subject to change without prior notification.  Texas residents are subject to sales tax.  Orders shipped out of state are not subject to any sales tax. Returns Exact exchanges are accepted within 15 days on defective merchandise only.  Authorization is required on all returns.  Please contact us prior to returning any merchandise to obtain a return authorization code.  Any items returned to us without an authorization code will be refused and returned to the sender.      Refunds are not issued on any of our items.  Yarn is not returnable.  We suggest you return defective merchandise by insured mail for your protection.  Sorry, shipping charges are not refundable. Cancellations Orders may be cancelled any time prior to processing (usually within the first 24 hours after an order is placed).  We are unable to cancel any order that is already being processed.    Backordered items may be cancelled as long as the item is still in "backorder status" and is not being processed.  All cancellations must be submitted via email and will be responded to accordingly.  Special Order yarns may not be cancelled. Privacy Statement DiscountYarnSale.com is committed to protecting your privacy. Any information we collect will only be used to process orders and facilitate communication between our customers and DiscountYarnSale.com.  We will not disclose, rent or sell your personal details. Special Order Yarns Special order yarns such as Noro, Debbie Bliss, Knitting Fever, etc. can range in delivery time from a few weeks to a few months.  All Knitting Fever Inc. yarns are considered special order yarns since KFI is unable to provide us with stock availability information.  While the stock of KFI yarns is improving, the ability for us to give an accurate estimate of delivery for  most of their yarns is nearly impossible.  Special order yarns may not be cancelled.
