Pinking shears are used to produce ravel-resistant edging in sewing or craftwork. The zig-zag edge effected by these shears makes a nice finish for seams. Because of their delicate setting we recommend that only one layer at a time be cut with pinking shears. The inside blades should be wiped clean frequently to prevent accumulation of lint that can affect the smoothness of feel and cutting of the shears.
