Here's how it works:

On September 1st, 2007 Hill Country Yarns launched their second Hill Country Yarns sock pattern design contest. The contest will end on December 31st, 2007 and the winners will be announced on or before February 28th. According to Hill Country Yarns, the submissions from their last contest were amazing and choosing only three winners (one winner for each of their three most popular sock yarns, Sweet Feet, Instant Gratification, and Superfine Superwash) proved to be extremely difficult.

What does this have to do with the Hill Country Yarns sock club???

Each installment of Hill Country Yarns Sock Club packages will include one of the winning sock patterns as well as a skein of Hill Country Yarns softly shaded sock yarn. Club membership lasts for 6 months and will consist of three installments (one every two months). Club members will also receive 10% off any Hill Country Yarns order purchased at DiscountYarnSale.com during that 6 month period. The cost will be $60.00 for a 6 month membership. That means you get one skein of beautiful hand dyed Hill Country Yarns sock yarn (enough to make a pair of socks), a Hill Country Yarns exclusive pattern (from one of their winning contest designers), and 10% off future Hill Country Yarns orders for only $20.00 per installment!  We'll even cover shipping!*

Remember, sign ups for series two ends February 15th, 2008. The first shipment of series two goes out in March 2008! Memberships are limited and are offered on a first come, first serve basis.
